We hear this phrase so many times, this "epidemic of chronic disease." But the fact is, we are at a fork in the road. We're either going to get used to chronic disease and be in the age of Lipitor and dialysis centers on every corner in the city, or we're going to change the way eat. I mean, it's really that simple. Most of the things that are killing us these days, whether it's heart disease, diabetes, obesity, many many cancers are directly attributed to the way we're eating.

I'm nearing the limit on my bandwidth allocation for the "month" (the bandwidth allocation does not follow the calendar or the billing cycle) at PodOMatic. I can pay more and get more bandwidth, but what I'd rather do is cut down the file size of each episode. Can anyone recommend a free piece of software that will allow me to take a 50 mb mp3 file and convert it to something in the 20 mb range without too much degradation in sound quality?
