The Frog House

I put captions on all of these when I uploaded them. I have to say, the LiveJournal scrapbook feature needs some work.

I may not get back on line again until Tuesday. Don't take my silence as any sort of slight.

nice place
Thank you. It gets nicer by the day as it reflects less of the tastes and sensibilities of the previous occupants and more of ours.

boys getting big
Yes, I see it, but it doesn't really hit me how big they've both gotten until I see them in photos.

Frog House
Previous occupants seemed to have a frog obsession. We found a little yard sign with a frog on it, a piece of fountain statuary in the shape of a frog, and the pond shown in the photos hosts a population of tadpoles. Also, on our first visit we found a little tree frog clinging to the side of the house, and as I was clearing leaves away from a walkway I encounted a very large and intricately patterned frog.

Frogs and more frogs at the Frog House.

Tomorrow it will become a chicken house as well.

Why that's a lovely abode... except for the giant, dead deer head! ;-p Other than that though, looks inviting and peaceful.

digs
I had captions to go with all of the photos, but they got lost somewhere in the workings of the LiveJournal beta scrapbook cogs and gears.

The two images that show two view of the same space illustrate what the house looked like when we first viewed as compared to what it looks like now that we've replaced the sellers' furnishings with out own.

Other than that though, looks inviting and peaceful.

Once we get a guest house built, I hope you'll come for a visit.
