Help!

I'm trying to get signed up for dial-up internet service. I need a service that offers a toll-free number for connecting to the Internet. I just signed up with PeoplePCOnline and immediately had to cancell because they don't have an 800 number for me to use. They wanted me to check the cities they listed that are within my local calling area. I have ZERO cities within my local calling area. My home phone is useless except for dialing 911 or toll-free numbers.

Do you know of an internet provider that offers toll-free dial-up numbers?

Thanks for the effort.

I called 20 of the companies listed there. Most have gone out of business. Of the ones still above water, none offer toll-free dial-up access. I may just have to bite the bullet and shell out for satellite.

No other way to connect. No DSL or cable available in the boonies. I tried a celluar card for my laptop. Too slow to be worth the money. No local dial-up numbers. It's toll-free dial-up, satellite, or nothing. Have I overlooked a possibility?
