Eh. I don't care. I was blogging long before blogging was cool, and I'll probably continue to do it after.

Well, I think the main reason LJ is on the downhill trend is because all the cool kids are using Wordpress now (and all the teenyboppers are going to Myspace)

From what I've heard, read, and observed,it seems as though the stories about blogging hitting its "peak" in 2007 have to do with the decreased growth rate of blogs in 2006- but that decrease in growth rate is simply because the metrics used to count blogs have been getting better at ignoring "splogs" or spam blogs, which have grown at a massively exponential rate.

In other words, the whole story is probably your garden variety of data misinterpretation.

The Death of Blahgging
The new "paradumb shit" is the rapid implosion of the "Blahgosphere".

Blah, blah, blah, blah, Blah, blah, blah, blah, Blah, blah, blah, blah,

and blah right back to ya.

Walter

PS..There are plenty of viable alternatives to writing in your blahg everyday.

Kill your blahg.
