Interesting - I've never read this guy

Hal Clement (Harry C. Stubbs)
A quiet and underrated master of "hard science" fiction who, among other things, foresaw integrated circuits back in the 1940s.

Which science fiction writer are you?

I was hoping I could pull off Larry Niven, but I couldn't stomach lying to the quiz abuot how easily I pick up chicks. It pegged me pretty much correctly with Gibson, although the Sci-Fi book I've had sitting in my head for the last couple of years is decidely Cherryh-ish.

I ran into her at a bookstore in Columbia, MO in the mid 90's (before I moved to Seattle). I didn't know she was doing a signing, and I saw the sign in the mall bookstore window as I walked past. I noticed that it was already after the posted end time for the signing, but I poked my head in anyway and found her packing up. I walked up to her and said that I enjoyed her books. She talked my ear off for about 45 minutes until finally I had to break it off and excuse myself. I probably uttered less than a hundred words in that 45 minutes.
