Looking for Poker Rules

My 7 year-old son got a miniature deck of cards yesterday. We've run through the games that I know how to play. Now he wants to play poker. I don't know the rules. I've been looking for them on-line. You'd think that would be a pretty easy thing to find. I would have thought so.

I'm looking for a text-only, simple summary of some version of poker that I can print and use to teach and play poker with a 7 year-old. I'm not interested in entering a credit card number, playing on-line, or running a casino. Does anybody have a useful link?

Generally the best writers in the industry:

Like many explanations, it's way simpler than it at first looks.

About dot com's page is refreshingly free of attempts to sandwich you into an online casino,

That one seems pretty simple, (Ware the pop-ups) There's also a hand ranking page, which would help me if we were playing poker, since I always have to ask people, "does this beat that?" and then I get punched because I think that a flush beats a full house.

Crazy 8
Those little tiny cards are hard to deal with... both my daughters have enjoyed cards for years. (I prefer the larger ones since I am blind, and I like to shuffle:)

Just wanted to mention Crazy 8's. It eventually became the one we have had the most fun with.

You probably already know how to play it but just in case.

And Happy Birthday, I am SO annoyed that I forgot... I'd had a standing plan for months to make you a card, and since it was on 4/20 I was certain I would not forget.
I hope you have a wonderful day KMO... it's lovely outside and the ground is holding still which is always a bonus.

Wouldn't it being on 4/20 making it almost guaranteed to be a thing easily forgotten? :)
