Episode 118: 21st Century Koans

"C" stands for consciousness

118: 21st Century Koans

There are a couple of places in the intro in which the completely wrong word came out of my mouth. I didn't notice until I went to edit those bits, and by then my window of quiet time had passed, so I didn't go back and re-record. Hopefully, I will return to "normal" cognitive function in the near future.

Here are a couple of emails of the sort that I like to read on the show. I just didn't leave myself time to do so this week:
Hi KMO,

I just sent you a Paypal donation from my other email account. It's
not much, but hopefully it won't be the last one. It sounds like you
can use as much as you can get right now.

Speaking of your current situation... you've always done a good job on
the C-Realm of adhering to classic principles of journalism: keeping
out of the way of the topic, overtly expressing your personal
positions only insofar as they clarify or enhance the information, and
warning your listeners of when you do "get personal" in an interview.
As a former editor and student of media and society who is appalled by
what passes for journalism in the mass media today, I've deeply
appreciated this..... but it does mean that many of your listeners
know very little about your ongoing personal situation, myself
included.

I'm assuming that those who were lucky enough to attend ceremony with
you in Peru know what's up, but maybe you could edify the rest of us?
I tend to think (idealistically, I'm sure) that the community of
C-Realm listeners is, in fact, a community, albeit one that doesn't
get to meet face to face very often. And people in communities help
each other out.

I know I alone can't possibly contribute enough money to pay your
rent, or convince your wife that the C-Realm is a legitimate and
highly needed enterprise worthy of your efforts. However, if Maryland
doesn't work out, I'd be happy to engage my social network to help you
find work, housing, or even just someone to take care of your cats.
And I'll bet I'm not the only C-Realm listener whose wealth lies more
in connections than in dollars.

Be well,
katuah

Hi KMO,

Just sent you a donation, because I know moving can be expensive! But it's small because I just moved too ;)

Very much enjoyed this week's podcast about aliens. It seems like a good time to point you to some material I've found to be particularly interesting:

http://www.lawofone.info/

The body of work is essentially an interview with an extraterrestrial, spanning several years in the early 80s. The interviewer was Don Elkins: a pilot who had seen a UFO and, in the course of investigating the phenomenon, was lead to channels who claimed to be in contact with them. The interviewee was RA: the 'social memory complex' that evolved from Venus, as channeled by Carla Rueckert and transcribed by James McCarty.

While admittedly an extraterrestrial, RA stressed the relative unimportance of UFO phenomena. These visitations are described as wake up calls for those who need to be reminded that mystery underlies existence. Having occurred throughout history, they take whatever form the current culture is prepared to accept - as UFOs, spirits, angels, gods, etc. There are many different beings visiting us via several different mechanisms, and each experience is tailored to the individual's expectations - hence the wide variety of reports. I laughed out loud hearing of McKenna's encounter... so perfectly his!

RA was not manifest on earth during the interview, but describes visiting the ancient Egyptians in a bell shaped craft and walking among them for an extended period. RA worked with the priests of that culture to create the higher arcana of the Tarot (as a tool for meditation on archetypes) and built the first of the pyramids there (as chakra balancing centers). The negative aspects of the 'cult of RA' that unfortunately developed over time caused RA to leave, while remaining karmically bound to our race.

But the source of this material is less important than the information it contains... In strict interview format RA weaves a cosmology that, at least to me, seems to encapsulate and extend all other explanations of this reality we find ourselves in. It's an extremely complex and detailed picture, similar to what we see when we look at the natural world, but extended 'up' into realms of consciousness we've yet to experience.

In a nutshell, the cosmology describes our current reality matrix as loosely divided into space/time and time/space - the illusory world we incarnate into, and our true home which we visit each night in our dreams and return to when we die. Along this axis runs a seven tiered evolutionary progression, with many different types of beings at each level and various degrees of interaction between the levels...

The first level or density consists of the chemical world, while the second contains most plants and animals, and most people are third density beings seeking to evolve into fourth density experience. They are here now because the planetary being itself has been transiting between third and fourth density - a process that takes roughly 75 years, with its midpoint occurring at the winter solstice 2012. Planets going through this transition offer an ideal environment for the beings existing on them to make the same transition.

During fourth density these folks will form into the type of being that RA is - a social memory complex. The seed of this being is what some call the akashic records - the sum total of our knowledge and experience. Eventually this becomes a self aware being in its own right, as we all gain more conscious awareness of it. In its early form it is an extremely compassionate being, since it is aware of all sides of societal conflicts.

According to RA, Jesus and similar entities in other cultures were fourth density beings, incarnate here in third density through a process called wandering. This was at a time when there were very few wanderers around, so they made a pretty big splash! Now about ten percent of the population are beings from other densities, here to offer assistance during the transition as best they can. Few of them are aware of their true origins though, many having gotten caught up in the third density illusion. Still, their vibrational presence here is helpful in shifting the planetary vibration, and more of them wake up every day.

What I find most unique about the material is its take on core morality - good and evil, positivity and negativity. RA defines these different approaches as service to others and service to self, while stressing that both are valid spiritual paths. The cosmology actually has the paths coming back together in seventh density, where the illusionary divide between self and other is no longer apparent. But to graduate from third to fourth density beings most be sufficiently polarized towards one path or the other, which they will then follow through the intervening densities. The negative path is fundamentally harder, so polarization requirements are stiffer - hence the incredible zeal with which some folks on this planet seek to control others!

Sorry this has gotten so crazy long - the material was harder to synopsize than I had imagined. I hope it's been interesting, or that you stopped reading if it wasn't. This material came to me soon after it was transcribed, back when I was young and seeking answers with the same sort of earnestness you display. It still provides answers today, though I have a hard time accepting the current ramifications of them! But when I can, all is well in my mind since even the worst possible outcomes for this planet are just different ways for the all that is one to know itself better, which is the ultimate point of the universe. In short, it's all good...

Peace be with you,
doug

There you go, I will reserve comment, of which I have many.
When did society stop looking to the artists as their visionaries?
Wait, that was a comment, so I take that back.

hollow circles
I did enjoy Neil Kramer's recounting of what were, for him, clearly very significant experiences. I, however, fell short of being swayed by his testimony of entire mathematically accurate compositions or "messages" being represented in these crop circles. I admit that I'm struggling to keep from being overwhelmed by my skepticism on this topic. Yet what is offered for support by way of anecdote and conjecture seems so utterly hollow that I'm not sure what to think of this. Rationally, I would pronounce it "worthless" but yes we've heard, you cannot approach this from the angle of reason. Well... where indeed does that leave us? Phhtt! I'm not interested in abandoning Reason, but I recognize the benefit of side-lining it occasionally. The c-realm has helped to crystalize this idea in my thoughts. Thanks kmo.

Not my favorite c-realm topic but allow me to finish by sending out love to all c-realmers and particularly to kmo.

Re: hollow circles
Thank you, Core.

I think you'd really enjoy Terence McKenna's take on the crop circle phenomenon. Do give episode #125 of the Psychedelic Salon a listen:

Stay well.

Re: hollow circles
Yes, I grinned broadly while listening to Terrence McKenna's entertaining dissection of the issue. One thing I enjoy the most about listening to him is that I often find myself laughing out loud at the brilliance of his the words. Thank you for the link.
