LJ Help

I've noticed that people whose LJ's are in Russian have been adding me to their flist. When we have friends in common I add them back as a courtesy, but I'd like to know what they're posting. Is there a convenient way to get those entries translated into English that does not involve a lot of cutting and pasting on my part?

Also, I know how many people download the podcast and read posts over at the Grow Report, but I have no idea how many people look at this LiveJournal. Is there an easy way to get that info?

Hi KMO. I've been listening your podcasts for a while, and find it very very interesting. Then I found a link to you lj somewhere, and added you in order to be updated on future podcasts. Is it okay with you? I guess, you can use google translator to get at least some idea of the content of my lj. I'm mostly writing about my life in the states for my friends back in russia, and also recently more about the crisis, and how it is perceived my various "non-mainstream" people in the states, like for example libertarians. You don't have to copypaste all the time, instead you can just go to

http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en

and use "Translate a web page". Also, on your profile page on the right top there is a link to "statistics", where you can see how many people look at your journal.

Hyperwords
I use the hyperwords add-on for firefox. When using its translation tool, the resulting translated text replaces the original text in its original location in the webpage - no new tabs, no copying and pasting.

Have we only been thinking with our head all these years.
This is so worth 40 minutes of your time...

This one blew me away - totally off subject, as usual. But, highly interesting to c-realm audience. I promise.

Someone in the YouTube comments recommended the writings of Candace Pert. I don't know this author. I can recommend this book, which I have read: The Secret Teachings of Plants: The Intelligence of the Heart in the direct perception of Nature. That book explains how herbalists commune with plants to get knowledge about their uses directly.

Basically, our culture thinks with the head only. This is why we are in a mess. Through the Heart, we connect with the larger field of information.

Can't write much more as time passes, but follow this lead my friends. It's well worth it.

Peace.

Hey KMO,

Are you able to listen to an MP3 payer in your line of work?

Best, Dna

That would be grounds for termination.
