There's a very nice review of the C-Realm Podcast to be found on a site called The Walden Effect, and honeychrome over on the Kunstlercast Forum posted the following:
Much as I love the Kunstlercast, I find it is mainly a source of reinforcement for general opinions I already have and for argumentative ammo (ain't JHK clever with the witty turn of a phrase!), and sometimes I feel like it is a bit of a broken record (though one I like), but that is to be expected from a podcast that is a conversation between the same two people every week . The C-Realm is another animal altogether, and consistently the best, most interesting podcast on the web (IMHO). KMO is the Bill Moyers of entheogenic exploration, peak-oil, re-localization of community & agriculture, consciousness and critique of the 'singularity,' managing to interview compelling thinkers each week. I find my ideas and understanding expanded with every episode I listen to, even ones that I initially have absolutely no interest in (zombie movies, for example......). I actually look forward to the weekly, three-hours-each-way drive I do- it is my podcast time, so I listen through podcasts that initially might not interest me much- whenever it is the c-realm I am always glad I listened through. Really, really great stuff. Listeners to the the c-realm know that KMO is going through some major transitions at the moment, but still he manages to get his podcast out there and it truly is gift. He may never know how far they go and how significant the ripples are that emanate from the weekly stones he throws out into the pool that is our collective, modern internet-based existence.

Well, he nailed it.
That's high praise indeed!
Well deserved I might add.
Your podcast is the only one I NEVER miss, and has made Wednesday a special day for me.

I would like to second that comment! The C-realm is the only podcast that I can definitively say changed my life. I’ve been actively listening since episode 4 when I was searching for more info on ayahuasca. However since then, my interests have expanded to permaculture, sustainability and of course peak oil. Good grief it has been quite an education.

I suppose you could say that I came for the shamans but stayed for the Kunstler.

By the way, on the topic of psychedelics and ecology, I just wanted to share a link to an interesting MAPS Spring 2009: Special Edition PDF.

Right on!
Listening to the C-Realm makes sitting in a cubicle under fluorescent lighting in front of a computer screen not only bearable but exciting. And that, is quite an accomplishment.
