KMO links to Pepsi?

Pepsi claims to be giving away $1,300,000 each month to fund great ideas. Well, I don't think they get much better than this:

Pepsi's fresh new PR campaign!!
Saw this on the Orbit board.
It's a great project.

Even an old cynical woman like me wonders if these corporations can't be infiltrated. If Pepsi wants to give people money for these projects, then obviously their staff is young and bright enough to know conventional advertising does f*ck all in their target market these days. Dare i say a large portion of their target market knows some dirty facts?

If Pepsi CO... cleaned themselves all the way up, for real, instead of just throwing some money at people with projects that are well beyond their substandard ethical quality, then I'd probably buy a Pepsi, maybe.

At least I have been mostly lucky enough to have a choice, they hadn't been allowed to destroy the water supply for a good portion of my life in this location.

Before Pepsi and Coke grew so powerful, I remember when you could drink the water out of the fountain at school. But for my own daughters, well I have been packing water, or giving them water money for the machines at school for years. (Water made by Pepsi and Coke, mind you. That is IF you were one of the few schools that were allowed to have BOTH products on the same campus.

It's dirty money, but it's worth taking and putting to good use I guess. It only feeds the demon though in the end.
