244: Facebook Jesus

http://crealm.libsyn.com/244-facebook-jesus

KMO welcomes Dan Krotz back to the program. Dan and KMO conjure an image of the United States marked by widening disparity between the have-nots and the have-lots. College costs more than ever and no longer ensures the kind of professional job that will allow the graduate to escape the student debt that will keep them working for their creditors rather living the $80K a year lifestyle that the mainstream narrative tells them they are supposed to live. In spite of the Internet, Dan thinks we remain seriously disconnected from one another at a time when we ought to be collaborating and cooperating to create resilient communities.

Nicely edited intro...
The music element of your intro to "Facebook jesus" (particularly the editing of the music) made me laugh out loud... Thanks.

Thank you, Core. That sort of thing is a lot of fun for me, though it is time-consuming, so I don't do as much of it as I'd like.

double doom
Not only are the adult children of those middle class Americans born between 1939 and 1959 facing ever-worsening economic conditions, we have also been "raised" by this hyper-fortunate generation. It's a case of the blind leading the blind into a dark cave. How fucked is that?
