Friday, October 25th, 2013
8:30 to 10:15 am
Murphy Institute, SPS, CUNY
25 West 43rd St, 18th floor

Negotiations on this far-reaching trade agreement, so far conducted largely in secret, are reaching a critical point this fall as the administration seeks Congressional approval for Fast Track authority, bypassing ordinary Congressional review, amendment and debate. Join us as key spokespeople from the labor movement and civil society talk about the vast scope of the proposed agreement, its impact on jobs and workers, and what labor and others has been doing to get an agreement they can support.
Speakers:
Arthur Stamoulis, Executive Director, Citizens Trade Campaign
Celeste Drake, Trade and Globalization Specialist, AFL-CIO
A light breakfast will be served
RSVP to Eloiza Morales at 212-642-2029 or eloiza.morales@mail.cuny.edu
