I'll be driving to Austin, TX this coming Saturday (April 5th, 2008). I'll be interviewing James Howard Kunstler the next day at the Congress for the New Urbanism conference. I'm hoping to find a spare bedroom or couch upon which to crash and avoid having to shell out for a hotel. Are there any LJers or C-Realm Podcast listeners out there who can hook me up?

I'm also looking for someone with a decent video camera to shoot the interview. I'm bringing my audio recording gear, but it would be pretty neat to have a video to post to YouTube as well.

I'm interviewing someone the next day in Houston, so a place to stay in Houston (or anywhere between Austin and Houston) would be grand.
