Reinventing Reality C-Realm Special

KMO welcomes Daniel Pinchbeck and Dmitry Orlov to the program to
discuss their visions of the challenges and opportunities that pesent
themselves in this liminal moment in human history. Might our economic
system be on the verge of collapse? Would that necessarily be a bad
thing? How might we reinvent ourselves and our society as we search for
a new guiding communal myth? Later, KMO talks with Corey Call about
the upcoming Coalessence Festival in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Whitley Strieber interviewed Daniel Pinchbeck for Coast to Coast. Daniel Pinchbeck accused Strieber of being the thrall of dark alien entities and tipping the scales in favor of a near-future Malthusian Correction by predicting it. Whitley Strieber thinks little of Pinchbeck's wishful magical thinking, though he does regard Pinchbeck's optimistic hopes for the potential of humankind as "touching and very appealing."

Whitley wins in terms of word count.
To someone in headspace of the likes of Richard Dawkins or Eliezer Yudkowski, this disagreement has all the lucidity and gravity of a debate between two mental patients over whether the gremlins beaming radio signals into their dental work have pink toes or fuschia.
I'm reminded of an argument that King Mob has with his ex-girlfriend in Grant Morrison's "The Invisibles."
