¡Gracias por las risas!
Hey KMO!

Thanks for the laughter, man! It was really fun. I'm still catching up with the C-Realm. I'm just starting #48 momentarily. We are so lucky to have you doing this podcast of yours--and particularly so for your bringing us back 'golden nuggets' from Iquitos and beyond.

It was cute that Wendy Luckey didn't know what a podcast was, and granted you were Wachuma-fied at the moment you offered your "internet radio show" (or words to that effect) explanation, and I'm pretty sure you already know this, but there are internet radio stations that stream their shows in 'real-time' much like 'traditional' radio shows, and thus, somewhat different from podcasts. Podcasts have the extra-special distinction of being 'portable' or 'modular' even as they may not (in most cases) offer a contemporaneous experience of hearing a speaker nearly the same exact instant that they are speaking and breathing. Perhaps for someone like Wendy it was a "distinction without a difference" and my observation is a waste of space.

I am curious about what MP3 player you used for your recording, make and model, and whether it stores recordings in MP3 or some other format.

I've had great fun recording a few entheogenic journeys on audio in the past, just in case something really "interesting" happened that was worth trying to remember. So I'm always on the lookout for technology that is affordable and does a good job under those circumstances (read: can be managed while being extremely tripped out). I could see podcasts getting more interactive if listeners could offer audio feedback, much like they do on Dopefiend.co.uk with their Skype link. (Of course, such content probably adds to the editing overhead and may not easily accommodated.)

In any case, we're glad you're back -- Welcome home, KMO! I look forward to the podcasts ahead!!

Hey Man,

Good to hear from you. I'll respond to the specifics of your message on next week's show.

It seems as though the most recent Dopecast could be called, long-ass letter from Xochipilli2012 as read by the Dopefiend. Very entertaining!
