My Dream World

Someone wrote to me to ask:
I’m requesting a written description of your perfect world, or your “dream” world. This can be one sentence or many pages; a poem or researched essay – there is no structure you need to follow, all that is requested is your image of a perfect world: What is it that you really want in the world? How would you live? What is your Utopia; your “Heaven on Earth”? What would your perfect world look like? These are some of the ways to approach the question. Your dream world can be as fantastic and marvelous as you want it to be. There are no rules, no right or wrong descriptions, only the world of your imagination and the world of your dreams.

I've posted my answer here: http://www.thegrowreport.com/Forums/showthread.php?p=53218#post53218

Now that is an interesting question. Here's what I'd want in my dream world:
1. Sustainable abundance of goods and services so great and well managed as to make notions of scarcity and property obsolete.
2. Transportation fast enough to make location not a significant obstacle (fast enough, say, to jaunt halfway around the world for lunch because you feel like it).
3. Human-scale walkable communities (even when transportation is fast, there's no place like home).
4. Location-based communities and freely-associating distributed tribes coexisting and collaborating.
5. No fear, hatred, or systems of oppression and discrimination.
6. Perfect health for all, and lives as long as desired.
7. Human habitats well integrated into a robust and diverse ecosystem.
8. A strong intellectual, athletic, and artistic culture.
9. Everyone free to pursue their passions to the fullest extent.
10. No one doing labor that they don't want to do.
11. No limits of the human body and mind that can't be continually surpassed and expanded.

I think, perhaps, the interior of ones consciousness is of utmost import. Thus conceiving of way to alter the external world in this of that manner is ultimately futile.
However it does seem like an interesting mental exercise.
I shall give it some more thought.
I just wanted to write something.

This post is totally out of place. but I read this article, its truth and honesty made my blood boil with a political fervor I havent felt for some time. I want to post it on the grow report somewhere and see what comments it brings. There must be some other pertinent places to post it but Im too much of a novice to know. There could even be an episode or two of the the c-realm in it.
In imagining ideal world we perhaps have to honestly recognise what is presently happening and how to clean up such a mess.

heres the link to the article, please post it in appropriate places if you feel fit. Or possible point me in a direction of two.

The Obama Deception
Michael Tsarion spoke of how, in this time of revealing, we would need to face the shadow aspects of ourselves and our culture before we would get to the more positive aspects. Thus, it is great to think of utopias, but it important to remain vigilant of actual dangers. So I recommend The Obama Deception, Alex Jones' newest film.

There's really not too much to add to that. . .well put and covers many different areas in just about each statement. A prime example of why I listen to the C-Realm religulously.

My Dream World

I tried coming up with something awhile ago, it was a fun exercise to go through, but much more difficult than I thought. I posted it on my blog.

I hope you are well, judging by your latest entry you may have been better. All the best to you.
