The Facebook Moron-a-thon Continues

So, I'm staying at the home of a C-Realm listener in Greensboro, NC on a cross-country jaunt, and when I check my email, half of the messages are Facebook-related. Facebook won't let me log in because it sees that I'm not at my usual IP address. So I supply my password and solve a CAPTCHA, and THEN Facebook shows me a series of photos of people listed on Facebook as my "friends" and challenges me to identify them. I've got over 500 folks in that category, most of whom I've never met in real life. To pass this authentication I can't get any wrong. Most of the photos are from a distance, or group shots, or otherwise images that I might get wrong even if most of my Facebook "friends" were people I've actually met.

Stupid Facebook.

Wow. That sounds pretty ridiculous.

On the other hand, happy travels! :D

You on an adventure? cool, KMO! Like Frodo? Half kidding. Where are you going next? Heading to Colorado? or this way? I hope you podcast/blog about this! I love hearing about your life, what's happening, and your responses. Take care, KMO!

Life is an Adventure
I'm in Maryland right now, which is where my children reside. I'll be heading back to Tennessee next week. I won't take to the road again until I've got the new book printed and ready for sale, at which point I imagine I will embark on an extended couch-surfing tour.

G'boro = just down the road. Tell 'em to look me up.

Hey, if this is part of your new travel zone, maybe it's time for a mini-tour, ay?

mini-tour
Yes! If you have an idea for a venue, do check it out. The best venues for me are those that don't charge for the use of the space or who charge very little.

As soon as I get the book printed I fully intend to hit the road to give talks and pimp the book. Albert Bates, Neil Kramer, and Doug Lain are all set to have new books out this year. The local mini-tour would likely be a double-bill with Albert Bates. East coast with Neil. West with Doug.
